I will no longer be using this blog as I am now using Joomla: http://causticblonde.com/joomla/
The reason I have done this is because joomla is as easy to use as a blog, but looks more like a website which is what I wanted in the first place. Anyway, update your bookmark!

This was the video that I meant to show the other day when I wrote the article on why I would not vote for Obama. I have never in my entire life laughed so hard at something to do with politics.
Note To Biden: Herbert Hoover was our president in 1929`. Well, at least we know we will have comic relief for the next four years.
I’m gonna quit my job and let the “one” pay my mortgage, make my car payment and pay for everything!!! (Sarcasm)
The loud sucking noise we will be hearing soon will be the sound of the evil entrepreneurs and businessmen who drove the economy and paid 95 percent of our taxes for years, and who soon will be enemies of the state, taking their money and businesses to another country.
It’s only 4 years… Please God, let it be a quick, uneventful four years…
Bright side, I am going to be super-fashionably thin, since I vomit every time I see the man, and as much as he loves himself he’ll be on tv all the damn time.
Do folks who voted for McCain also get their mortgages and gas bills paid by Obama?
No, the End will be kinder and sweeter than his nascent long national nightmare.
In domestic policy, his legacy will be a vast expansion of the government bureaucracy and significant tax increases with nothing whatsoever to show for it.
Victory is one thing. Mandate is another. I stand by what I said. As of this writing, Obama leads by only three percent of the popular vote. He won, to be sure. But three percent is not a mandate. It’s a squeak-through.
So, I plan to tell the places I usually shop why I won’t be buying so much - and I plan to tell my usual charities why I can’t be giving as much - Because Obama needs to spread my ‘wealth’ around. They can ask him for the money.
So, OBAMA, whose BI^ch are you exactly? Who is pulling the strings? The sane Americans really want to know. To whom do we get to thank for your presidency? I know that you did not receive the amount of campaign contributions that you did and you are not “owned” by someone. Remember kids, nothing in life is free despite what anyone tries to tell you.
As for the inner city, where I used to live, what they need is a family structure, not another government give away. Daycare is no replacement for a father.
Great teachers are what kids need, but you just can’t mandate them.
Americans are about to get a real-life lesson on how much easier it is to destroy than it is to create.
Americans are on the verge of being duped into committing a colossally foolish blunder. The entire world will suffer for it.
Good times can buffer many conflicts, hard times bring them to the fore.
And the joke is on us. The joke is about us. The information stream was allowed to pollute itself, and now we will be forced to drink from it.
The Presidential election is coming to a close and if the polls are correct, Obama will be our next president. Then again, the polls had Kerry winning in 2004 so we will see in three days. (DV) I won’t be voting for Obama, I am not excited about voting for McCain, but he is the lesser of two evils. I have been a Republican for quite some time so to my friends and family this was no surprise, but I was sincerely disgusted with John McCain and had hoped there would be a better alternative. I was kind of excited with Obama at first, but then there was the racist preacher in a church where he was a member for 20 years. For a person to sit in a church for 20 years and claim to not know that his preacher spews racial hatred tells me one of two things:
A. He never really attended the church and only used it to make everyone think he is a “church goer.”
B. He did attend the church, he did hear the sermons and by him not leaving the church it says a whole lot about his character.
I am inclined to believe A because it is very scary to think that our next president might just be a racist. A, would be lock step with how Obama seems to run everything in his political career. The flip flopping, straddle the fence sort of attitude with the exception of a few things, like raising taxes. Now we are getting to what really bothers me about Obama, taxes and his attitude towards the “rich.” See video below where Obama talks with the infamous, Joe The Plumber, about redistributing the wealth.
I have to say, we learned more about “Joe The Plumber” after the Democrats had every little thing that could be dug up about him and exposed in the main stream left wing media than we will ever know about Obama. Obama has been given a pass by the main stream left wing media, they won’t touch the tough issues with their little darling to save their lives, but they crucified “Joe The Plumber.” Let’s get back on track. The whole “let’s stick it to the rich guy” sounds good to everyone, but the “rich” guy. What is rich? Well, in the Obama camp that is ever changing, one minute it is a person who earns $250,000, then it sails downwards to $200,000 oh and another decline, the new “rich” definition has been dropped to $150,000. It’s nice to know us “rich” people will be given more opportunities to “support” the “non-rich” in this country. As if we don’t do that enough already. Those of you who earn under $150,000 a year who are breathing a sigh of relief, I wouldn’t get too excited, I am sure the “One” will lower his standard for what is considered “rich” in this country again and again. I will wager that before this is all done and said, the new standard for “rich” will be persons who earn over $40,000 a year. Now, do you consider that rich by American standards? I read a statistic about 2 years ago that persons making over $30,000 a year (and that would be half of Americans) pay 96% of federal income tax. In short, 50% of the people are supporting the other half and the government wants more?
Let’s talk about public schools, Obama wants Universal preschool which would cost us 10 billion dollars. See video:
I have read reports that Preschool benefits a child until about the third or fourth grade, after that there is no difference. What amuses me about the whole preschool discussion is that when Obama was asked what he was going to do about the economy in one of the debates he rattled on about universal preschool. I just started laughing, I am absolutely befuddled as to why people seem to fall all over themselves for this man. Obama thinks throwing more money at the public school system is going to somehow magically fix it, I love how these politicians live in La La land, it must be nice. I have always felt that the public school system is a bottomless pit in which we throw our money and get little in return. The problem with the public school system is not money, it is the way the government runs it and parents. There are too many parents who take little to no interest in their child’s education or their child in general and then expect the teacher to make up the difference. Then of course there are the teachers who are simply there to collect a paycheck and are ill equiped to deal with children. Think about this, if you do not do your job what happens? You will more than likely be fired, so tell me why we put up with teachers who do not do their jobs? If you truly love your child, send your child to a private school and support vouchers from the government so you can send your child to private schools if you cannot afford it. Let’s put an end to the cesspool aka public school system by holding the government accountable for how they have thrown our money away on a system that is an absolute embarrassment to the American people. I refuse to vote for any tax increase or more money from casinos to give more funding to the public school system until they do a complete overhaul and give parents more choices.
The whole abortion issue, I am pro-life not pro-abortion (I don’t call it pro-choice, that is a benign name the pro-abortion crowd gave it). Even though I am pro-life, I am never fooled into thinking that the abortion laws in this country will change anytime soon and I get a good chuckle when the pro-abortion crowd gets their panties in a wad if a political candidate happens to be pro-life. Palin happens to be pro-life and this has set the Democrats reeling with fear that she might just be able to overturn the Roe vs Wade . The whole thought is absurd, it amuses me to no end, but leave it to the Democrats to get the wheels of fear mongering rolling. To read about what Obama’s stance has been on abortion, please read this article and google his name/abortion and you will have a wealth of information on where he stands. How anyone could vote against protecting a baby that was supposed to be aborted, but was born alive amazes me. It would seem to me that the issue would be a no brainer, but I guess for some people it is above their pay grade:
I think this person pretty much sums up how I feel about abortion, watch the video it is well worth it:
Last, but not least let’s talk about Biden. I sincerely wonder if Obama think s to himself, WTF was I thinking!!! This man cracks me up, I could go into details, but let’s take a look at this video:
I am going to end this by saying, does Obama keep him around for LOLs?
I am sure some of you have wondered why I have not posted in about three weeks, well I have been very busy and have not had time. I couldn’t stand the stress anymore from my work and personal life so I escaped last Friday to my home state of Ohio. There are a couple of things I learned while I was there: 1. No matter where I live, Ohio is home. 2. I am very loved by my family. 3. I need to visit my family and Ohio more often. 4. Ohio is beyond beautiful in Autumn, I stayed at my Aunts house which is in Hocking Hills, Ohio and the mountains with the leaves turning autumn colors was breath taking. Autumn is my favorite time of year. On my Aunt’s property there is a cute pond where her and my uncle have placed benches for fishing, but I don’t fish, I just loved the view of the pond with the autumn trees. I miss ohio and I am hoping (DV) I will go back and visit for Thanksgiving. :)
Over the past two weeks some of the lunch dates I have had with Judy and Tom have been trying to say the least. First I will talk about Judy.
Judy is an absolute beauty, she is beautiful beyond normal expectations for someone who is thought of as beautiful, most definately one of GOD’s more blessed individuals in the “looks” dept. With all this beauty she is NOT happy with her looks. She gets on these kicks where she wants to change her nose and other features on her face through plastic surgery. I have known her now for almost two years and at first I would fuss at her for the mere suggestion that she needed plastic surgery. Now, however, I get extremely annoyed because the subject is so tiresome. I almost wonder if she does not go on her little rants about her looks because she wants the attention or maybe there is some other deep rooted problem(or a little of both). I sincerely do not know. I try to end the subject by telling her to get the plastic surgery or go see a Psychiatrist to see if she can get to what is really bothering her. This of course ends with a “you just don’t understand” rant. And she has that right, I DON’T understand that is why I suggested the Psychiatrist. :)
Now, let’s talk about Tom. He talks endlessly about getting married, which is not so bad, but can get annoying. He constantly talks about having kids to the point that he doesn’t care if he is married or not, or whether or not he stays with the woman he would have a kid with. I could chew on this and chew as this is a pet peeve of mine, but I will say one thing that sums up my feelings on having kids out of wedlock when you could most definately avoid it. Kids are not a “thing” they are living, breathing human beings and are not for your enjoyment when and how you want them. They are not pets and take plenty of responsibility, love, two parents and last but not least money in order to raise properly. Now that I have made my feelings known on the subject, let’s talk about what really irks me about him as of late. He does not have a girlfriend, he goes on and on about it because he is lonely. He is under the impression that it is his looks that have kept him from having a girlfriend. Tom, if you are reading this blog and I know sometimes you do, it is NOT about your looks. While Judy and I are exercising in the gym at work he will come in and talk to us and as of late it has always ended up turning to a subject about his hair and how it looks. I snapped last Friday and told him to shut up about his hair. I couldn’t take the depressing way he was going on about his hair. His hair is cut short, there is not much you can do with it. It looks fine to me and I am sure it looks fine to everyone else. He is a handsome man, so why is it that he can’t retain a girlfriend? He is able to procure dates, so why not a girlfriend? BECAUSE, as much as I love him, he has this side to him that is difficult to explain. He has this dominant, archaic attitude towards women that is at times straight out of the dark ages. I tried explaining this to him and of course because I am a woman, I can’t possibly know what I am talking about. He will take anything you say and turn it into an argument. For instance, if I say,”The sky is blue.” He will say,” no, not really it is blah blah blah.” I am not over- exaggerating, he is sincerely like what I have stated. His own sister, after a return trip from Dallas, had apparently told him the same thing I said, which is that he argues everything someone says for no apparent reason. Now, if he does this with us, you know he does it with a potential girlfriend and if she is sane she is turned off by this behavior. I tried telling him this but he never listens.
What amazes me so much about Judy and Tom is that both of them are in their 20s. But to hear them talk you would think they were in their 70s with extreme regret over what might have been. They are so young yet so filled with gloom. It makes no sense to me. I was never this unhappy about myself at any point in my life. I am in my thirties and you would think I would be the depressing one because I am older, but nah. I was talking to a friend about this over the weekend and he told me that I had a confidence that few possess and maybe that was why I did not understand. Maybe, Judy and Tom lack confidence? I don’t know if confidence is what they lack, but they sure are depressing me with all their negative energy.
